I was reading this article on dannychoo.com. Its about how some Japanese merchants in Japan don't sell to foreigners. I think they have every right to sell to who they want to. i mean, it is their country. But you should check the article out yourselves and see what you think.

Needless to say, I've been reading the R.O.D. manga and it is absolutely brilliant! Who would have thought that such a great and deep story could be told by such strange means? I can't wait to get my hands on volume 4! Maybe Barnes and Noble has a copy? I hope so. Ah its so good. I have the three episode OVA, and liked it, but didn't really know much about it to really get into it. But after I finished reading volume three of the manga today I went back and watched it and enjoyed it a lot more.
P.S.
Be careful when reading novels about vampires in the dark in the middle of October. Scary... | | |
| Sorry my readers for the long break in between posts, but so much stuff is going on! Out of the blue I am going back to Okinawa and am now rushing to get things ready. I'll be living over there for a whole year! On top of that, its almost Halloween!
A whole year in Okinawa...
Guess I'll just head on over to Tokyo for Christmas... spend it Akiabara! Haha! There isn't much to say. Right now I am watching my friend play KOTOR. The first one. At the same time I am watching volume 2 of Haruhi Suzumiya.
I finish watching Shana and Fate/Stay Night, both of which were really good. Freakishly good, if there is even such a thing! As most of you know, the 2008 presidential election is just around the corner.
SUZUMIYA FOR PRESIDENT!
I would vote for her. I think I might still just vote for her. better to have a cartoon as president rather than a corrupt politicization.
I wounder if there are any xanga ladies who blog while cosplaying as a maid??

| I'm back and fully recharged to spit out some random useless crap and add my two cents to the massive heap of rotting garbage opinions which is the internet. LOL I am using internet! OMFG! So Yes, hello again to old reader, young readers, new readers, and those in between. Yes, the rumors you heard were true. I am Rossdude, and yes, I am the god of all things.
Only not really.

The reason for my recent break from blogging has been the constant bombardment of video games, anime, work, Magic the Gathering, Yuki forums, and books. This week alone, I lost a lot of time playing Star Wars: Force Unleashed, and Spore. Keep in mind all force must be leased at the dog park.
Force Unleashed is a great game. I already beat it of course. I mean I couldn't put it down. I loved the game. Loved it with all my soul, heart, and brain. And sometimes bodily fluids. I only have one problem with it. The force targeting mechanics suck. Especially on the Star Destroyer level. There were so many goddamn times I reached out with the force to try and grab a fucking TIE Fighter, but instead I grab some useless rubble. It was as frustrating as all hell. I damn near threw the 360 out my window with blind rage. And I am not a violent person. It was that jacked up. But I loved the story. Loved the characters. Loved the game. It was everything I imagined plus more.
Spore on to me is a pleasant surprise. I guess it was one of the most anticipated games of all time. Well, I didn't know about it at all until my friend bought it. I saw him playing as a little cell organism and instantly I thought, "I need to play this game." Sure enough, its a fantastic treat. I was hooked, causing me to turn in later than usual. I am no reviewer, though I sometimes try, so I wont get into the specs. Just go fucking play Spore. It is really enjoyable. Don't take my word for it either, there are a billion magazines and websites saying how great it is.
Work has been awesome this past week. Since it is my last training unit here at 29 palms and it is an Afgan training package oppose to a Iraqi training package, they are doing things a little different and I finally get to be an insurgent or Taliban. So I get to grow my facial hair out. Its bad ass. Not only that, but my work hours were way short this week since we didn't have anything to do. So life has been laid back. I'm healthy, non-stressed, and happy. One could not as for more. Except a beautiful, soft skinned, black hair shoulder lengthened, adorable, loving wife who loves to read books and wears glasses (Yuki lol). But that is just in a dream world.
I also saw the Death Note live action film. Yeah. It was awesome. The ending leaves off in such a cliff hanger. Even though it is a lot different than the manga and anime, I don't mind. It was very good. Very intense. The guy they got for L... it is like they actually found a real life L. I was very much pleased with the movie. Misa Misa! We are all rooting for you Misa! Bring the enemies of Kira to justice!
But really I am on L's side. I could hang out with him and have a good time I think. Besides he's really funny. Especially in this movie.
Tomorrow I have a feeling it is going to be another free day. I have a great idea for a web video for youtube, but I suck at making homemade movies. But I will try and post it tomorrow. Stay peeled for it. Here is a parting gift to you from all of my Yuki forums surfing. Nyrooo~n.

| MAN! I am tired! Who invented waking up early? What a bunch of bullshit. I have a few minutes before I have to go to work (in the desert) so I figured I'd write some xanganess. Ah so what to say?
What have I been doing lately you ask? Fancy you'd ask that! Well besides work (last two weeks in the desert before I go back to sweet ocean side and the hopefully Japan) I have been playing the new Star Wars game Force Unleashed. Its a damn good fucking game. No exaggeration. And I have also been playing a game called SPORE on my PC. I played SPORE until 11 pm last night. That's late for me. I know, some of you people can stay up all night likes its cool. Well I need my sleep. I even dreamt of SPORE. You know those dreams you have where it feels like you arn't sleeping? It was one of those ones. So even though I had atleast six hours of sleep, I feel like I have been running around all night, eating other animals and stuff. Of course, my race of critters I made on SPORE is a warrior race that hunts, eats meat, and goes to war with other tribes.
Work. As I mentioned earlier it is my last two weeks in the desert. Everyone rejoice! Yay! However, this will probably be the hardest two weeks in the desert I have ever had. Sort of like a end boss in a game. I will be outside in the scolding hot desert heat a lot. You see, I will be playing a insurgant these next two weeks which is new to me. I do get to grow out my beard and wear civilian clothing, but I think I still prefer being the S-4 shop. It was a lot easier to sit around and chill than it is hiding in the desert waiting for marines to come through so you can pull off a mock ambush.
I have to go to work. To be continued...

| Oh man this weekend has been a nice simple one. I finished Gurren Lagann and I have been chill ever since. Words cannot explain the feeling I have for that series. I haven't been emotionally moved like that in a long time. I am sad that its over. Well from what I hear there is a movie coming out for it. I am perfectly content with that series. It made me feel good.
SMILE!
I am just waiting for the laundry. I will probably go to sleep as soon as its done. Work tomorrow.
About the FFT pics. Give me a while to figure out how to do photography. I want to make them really good pics. Anyway that's the update.
Who knows what tomorrow holds, but keep drilling a hole through the heavens with your drill!
Its always so sad to say goodbye to good friends. But there will be others along the way. Farewell.
